For the singing course, we have 4 stages, beginners, intermediate, advance, performance. At each stage, there will be a test where every students have to take to move to the next level.

Stage 1) Beginners (2 months) - $150/mth
Students will be focusing on their basic techniques skills.
- Breathing
- Pitching
- Rythm
- Voice Projection

Students will have to also learn one Exam song of your choice within this 2 months.

Stage2) Intermediate (2 months) - $180/mth
Once basic techniques are in place, students will move on to understanding different genres of music and higher level of techniques.

- Understanding and Using Vibrato
- Understanding and using Falsetto
- Basic R&B techiniques
- Basic Jazz techniques
- Basic Harmony (2 part)

Guest Instructors for intermediate:

Babes Conde, Popular Singapore Idol Vocal Coach who has coach the biggest stars in the industry, will be the Guest Vocal Coach to teach the R&B and Jazz Techniques. Students get to benefit from her vast experience and fun teaching techniques.

Exam piece would be one Jazz or R&B Song and a Basic Harmony test.


Stage 3) Advance (3 months) -$200/mth
Advance Stage would be preparing students for basic performing skills.

- Understanding 4 part Harmony
- Basic Stage Grooving
- Improvisation of Song
- Basic Stage performance techniques

Guest Instructors for Advance Stage:

Hafis, from popular local acapella group Juz B, will be teaching students the Harmony techniques. Hafis is also currently with the SAF Band and is an accomplished Musician who has performed in many big events and has represented Singapore in competitions overseas.

Rahim, 2008 KO Night Champion and A Former President of popular Tp Dance Group, will be teaching the basic Groove techniques and Stage performance Techniques. He will help students understand how to project on stage and also to groove freely to the music.

Students will have to work on a solo (Fast number) and a group(acapella/Duet) song for the exams.

Stage 4) Performing (4 months) -$250/mth
Once students reach this stage, it means they are serious about being a performer. Music Garage has 2 electives for students at this level.

They can choose to master Dance and Sing, or Master Pop Keyboard and sing. In this 4 months, we will develop them to be a duo artiste, which is to be a master of more than just singing.

Exam at this level will be judge by Industry producers/Artistes. We will send Students for various Live Auditions to get a Paid Singing Gigs. Exam results will be based on ability to pass these Auditions.

Every Year, the Top 4 students will be given a one year sponsorship to our Garage Project, where we will groom the Artistes for 1 year. These artistes will be given opportunities for Events, Gigs and Recordings.
